Since 2017, Arthur T. (“Tee”) Cowperthwaite, Jr. has served as a Senior Project Manager at the firm, taking the lead on land use and permitting efforts for many projects. He is a licensed architect and 4th-generation Coloradan with an AB in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Master of Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design.  Prior to his time at Sinclair, Tee ran his own firm in Denver that specialized in residential design and adaptive reuse of existing building stock & historic preservation. His early career was with SOM in Chicago, IL.  A past member & Chair of Denver’s Lower Downtown Design Review Board, Tee has also served on the Colorado Episcopal Diocesan Art & Architecture Review Committee, AIA Denver Urban Design Committee, and on the boards of Denver Civic Theater and the Acoma Center/Curious Theatre. He is married to a retired educator, and together they have three sons and two daughters, a chill dog, and two rambunctious tabby cats.
